How To Become A Morning Person

I was never a morning person, I'm still not the biggest lover of mornings, but I've just about learnt how to get up and actually manage to be human in the mornings.

GET YOUR EIGHT HOURS

Make sure you're actually getting enough sleep, it may be okay to skip some sleep at first, but after a few days it will catch up on you and you'll crash.

DON'T SNOOZE YOUR ALARM

This is the worst thing you can do, I used to set about four alarms and then snooze all of them. If you only set one alarm and turn it off straight away it means you know that you can't go back to sleep because there's nothing else to get you up, so you have to get your lazy bum out of bed.

SHOWER STRAIGHT AWAY

I always have a nice refreshing shower first thing, it makes me feel so much more alive and fresh for the day. You could even use some tingly mint shower gel to feel even fresher!

DRINK ICE LEMON WATER

Before breakfast I have a really cold glass of lemon water, not only does it get your metabolism going, it also wakes you up, the ice is a shock to the system.

GIVE IT A COUPLE OF WEEKS

Don't expect to feel amazing straight away, it took me at least two weeks for my body clock to change and for me to actually feel semi-normal when I woke up in the mornings. Don't worry, it will happen!

Does anyone else struggle getting out of bed as much as I do?
