Healthy Habits .5 - Healthy Smoothies

I love a smoothie for breakfast or as a filling little snack throughout the day. These are the three smoothie recipies that I regularly use. They're super yummy, filling and healthy!

I use a blend active blender, it's easy to use and clean, plus it's not as expensive as a lot of brands! You can find it here.

Here are the recipes I use...


This is more of a breakfast smoothie, the oats make it really filling and combined with the yoghurt and almond milk it's creamy and delicious.

1 handful of strawberries
1 handful of raspberries
1 handful of blueberries
25g porridge oats
1 tsp natural yoghurt
almond milk (as much as you want to desired consistency)


This drink is so refreshing, I usually have this after a workout or even when I just want to be refreshed on a warm day.

1 orange (peeled)
1 small apple
1 medium carrot
3 ice cubes
water (as much as you want to desired consistency)


This is a super healthy drink which gives you so much goodness all in one glass, I know it looks gross but honestly it tastes so good and the prunes give a lovely sweetness.

 1 banana
1 apple
4 prunes
1 handful fresh spinach
1 handful of kale
1 tsp of a 'multi seed mix'
3 ice cubes
coconut water (as much as you want to desired consistency)
