May Birchbox Review

After last months amazing 'Royally Good' box (check out my post here), this months didn't really live up to my expectations. Of course there were some products I liked, others not so much. So, take a look for yourselves!

The theme this month was 'free your mind' and the box came with little colouring pencils and you got to colour in the box! I felt like a little kid, it's also really therapeutic!

Colouring Pencils

Let's start with the colouring pencils, a really cute little set of colouring pencils so you can create your own little design on the box - great idea!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser

I have found Caudalie through Birchbox and I'm falling in love with this brand. Their products are so gorgeous. Great quality and they always smell amazing. This tinted moisturiser did not disappoint. On minimal make-up days I've just been wearing this as a base and it is so moisturising whilst giving my face a little colour!

WAH London Nail Polish 'Be better not bitter'

I'm not going to lie, I really don't like this colour. It's like a very dark green and it's just not for me. I'm sure other (more adventurous) people would love this, but I'm more of a nude/pastel kind of girl. Sorry Birchbox!

Parlor Moisturising Sea Salt Spray

This was my favourite product this month. Sea salt spray is about the only thing that gives my hair a bit of texture. I've found with other sprays that they've made my hair a bit oily or greasy, but this is a really light product and does the job perfectly (also smells yummy).

Whish Body Butter in Almond

This has an almond/spicy sort of scent (and kinda reminds me of Christmas). I used it as a lovely indulgent treat and smothered myself in it after a nice long lush bath. Perfect.

Jelly Pong Pong Carribean sun bronzer duo

This is a cute little product. I like that it's compact and has a mirror (always handy). The bronzer will come in handy for a bit of conturing, however I think the blusher is a little too sparkly for me, plus I already have a blusher that I love and don't really stray from (Lorèal Le Blush).

Number 4 Lumiere d'Hiver Reconstructing Mask

This is a hair mask but I haven't tried it yet, I'll update the post when I do! It looks like a real luxury so I'm thinking of using it before my Graduation Ball (which I'm very excited/scared about!)

So that was this months Birchbox, a couple of products that I loved but not my favourite box!
Do you have any of these products? Which ones do you love?
