I am very excited to tell you guys that I am going travelling to Thailand for just a month on June 17th (exactly four weeks away)! I'm going with my boyfriend who will already be in Australia so I am going to meet him at Bangkok airport. First ever long haul flight and it's on my own, I'm a little nervous! (If you're nervous about any long journeys, or get bored on a long journey, take a look at my post for a few tips.)

We have a list of a few things we want to do (these are only a few) and I thought I'd share it with you all, any suggestions would be amazing!

Visit the Temple of the Grand Buddah & the Temple of Dawn

Explore Bangkok - meet other travellers and locals

Visit a floating market

Visit Kanchanaburi & the 'Death Railway'

Visit Ancient Ruins and National Parks

Island hopping - Snorkelling at Ko Phi Phi Lee

Volunteer with elephants in Chang Mai

Visit the waterfalls in the North

& plenty more!

I won't be blogging about Thailand whilst I'm out there because I won't have a laptop/internet. However, I am going to get myself a little camera and put together a montage of video clips. So when I get home I can share the experience!

Have you ever been to Thailand? What was your favourite place/experience whilst you were out there?

  1. I hope you had an amazing time, your list of things to do is pretty much everything I have on my bucket list at the moment, I've never been to Thailand but I've heard some amazing things and I hope to go one day.

  2. It was honestly one of the best places I've ever been to, the country is so vastly different anywhere you go and you will meet amazing people. Let me know if you go and I'll give you some tips! xx
