April Birchbox Review

This month I received the 'Royally Good' Birchbox, celebrating the arrival of the Royal baby (not that he/she has made an appearance yet)!

This was by far my favourite Birchbox, take a look at the gorgeous products I received!

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

I was looking forward to trying this. My usual primer is quite a thick consistency, yet this is pretty light which surprised me! It really does smooth your skin and my skin felt lovely all day, plus it definitely did the job of keeping my makeup on. However, I still think my rimmel primer does a pretty similar job at probably half the price.

Lola Barcelona Nail Polish

If I'm honest, I wouldn't have gone for this colour myself; purely because of the little shimmer it has to it, I'm not a huge fan of glittery/sparkly nail varnish. I have worn it and actually I do like it more on, it's quite a 'sophisticated' colour (if that is even a thing). This will be a gorgeous natural shade for summer days.

Percy & Reed London Volumising No Oil Oil

This really excited me. I have such heavy, flat hair and I've tried everything on it! So I was hoping for miracles. However unfortunately not even this could give my hair lasting volume. When I first used it I could definitely see more volume, plus my hair was so smooth and shiny. But after a couple of hours the volume wore off (I do have particularly think, heavy hair). Apparently they also have this product for 'thick hair' so I may try that next time.

Liz Earle Beauty Cleanse & Polish + Muslin Cloth

This came wrapped up in the cutest little packaging with a muslin cloth, it's sad but that really completes a product for me, it just makes it so much more exciting! Basically, you apply this product onto your dry face and neck, then you rinse the cloth in some hot water and gently wipe off the product, re-rinsing the cloth for each part of your face. I've never used a product like this before and I actually don't think my face has ever felt this clean. My face feels thoroughly 'cleansed and polished'.

Korres Bergamot and Pear Body Milk

The first thing I have to say is, this smells DIVINE. Plus the scent lingers all day which I love. This makes my skin so soft, will definitely be on my list for repurchasing.

Befine Warming Clay Mask

I've never used a warming mask before so I was pretty intrigued about this one. I haven't actually tried it yet, but I'll give you a little update when I do!

This was easily my favourite Birchbox so far. If you'd like to sign up to Birchbox or have a look at how they work, click here.

Have you tried any of these products?
I'd love to know!
