February Birchbox Review

So this month I got my first Birchbox! I've wanted to try this for ages and after looking around at a few different brands, I decided to get a 6 month subscription for Birchbox. I thought I'd give you guys a little peek of what was delivered to my door this month.

(I did mean to post this earlier, but I wanted to try everything so I could let you know what I thought of the products!)

I was so excited when the cute little box arrived to my house. Upon opening it, the products were inside a little fabric bag. Here's what I received...

Left to right: The Chia Co. Chia Oats, Agave Healing Oil Treatment, theBalm Cosmetics Cindy-Lou Maniser, Models Own Nail Polish, Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, London Butterflies Bath Salt Scrub.

The Chia Co. Mixed Berry Chia Oats

I was really looking forward to tying these, I enjoy eating healthy and I have been wanting to try chia seeds for a while. Whilst I did enjoy the porridge (I had it with almond milk instead of hot water because I don't like watery porridge), I thought it was slightly 'bitty'. Maybe this is because I'm not a huge fan of mixed berry because of the pips, but I couldn't tell what were the Chia seeds, maybe that's just what they're like. Anyhow, it was good porridge but I think I'll stick with my trusty (and cheaper) oats so simple for now.

Agave Healing Oil Treatment

I'm quite lucky to have naturally healthy hair. That being said, I do love to give it a treatment every so often to keep it silky smooth. I was worried this would make my hair slightly oily so I didn't use much but it turns out you don't need much at all! I only needed a small amount for my (very thick) hair and I love it. Made my hair silky smooth without leaving an oily residue, which I've had in the past. I would definitely recommend this and will be repurchasing myself.

theBalm Cosmetics Cindy-Lou Maniser

I usually use two highlighters on my skin (Benefit High Beam & the powder highlighter from the Contouring and Blush Sleek Palette), now I love my Sleek highlighter so I was intrigued to see how this would match up. This certainly impressed me, I love the pink tint and it looked so natural on my skin! I know this may not matter so much to some people, but I also think the packaging is really cute.

Models Own Nail Polish

I received the colour 'Sardonyx' which is a glittery deep red. I am quite fussy about nail varnish; however, when I tried this I like the fact it wasn't clear with red glitter, it was actual red nail polish so you wouldn't have to apply a separate red before hand. It also has a cool, unusual velvety lid. Being 100% honest, I don't love glitter nail polishes, I occasionally use them for accent nails; but if this is your kind of thing then I'd recommend it.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum

FINALLY. A primer I love! It's oil-free, makes your skin criminally soft and is just gorgeous. The only problem is the hefty price-tag. I have only tried drug store primers, and after testing this (£45 a bottle) serum I am obsessed. My birthday is next month, this might have to be an addition to the birthday list.

London Butterflies Bath Salt Scrub

This is also something I fell in love with. Damn my expensive taste, at £35 a pot this is too expensive for a student like me. This smells divine and just has a really luxurious feel to it, my legs were silky smooth after using this, I'm going to try and make the pot last as long as possible!

So there are some mini reviews of my sample products from Birchbox. Can't wait for next month!
Have you tried any of these?
